My 16 month old daughter was fascinated by a boy’s trike she saw at the park recently. We decided to buy this for her even though she’s pretty young. The trike seems like it is going to hold up for a long time. The bike goes together fairly quickly, though there is one step they recommend using two adults for and I did need to wait until my husband was home. Our daughter can sit on the bike and navigate the ground with her feet (similar to driving a Fisher Price Cozy Coupe). The only complaint I have is the steering is very tight. I don’t know if that is just how it is or it will loosen up with use. A very good value.

I chose this bike because it’s made by a real bike company, Schwinn. There are lots of “pink and girly” bikes out there (in toy stores, etc.) that are made by no-name companies, or bikes branded with licensed characters (Disney, Barbie, etc.) But if you look at them closely you’ll see the quality is just subpar. I am an avid biker and I build/repair my own bikes so I can tell the difference. This bike has coaster brakes and dual hand brakes (for both the front and back wheels) while most other kids bikes have only coaster brakes or maybe just a front hand brake. The hand brake levers are made of sturdy metal while most other kids bikes have plastic hand brake levers. The training wheels are mounted on strong heavy-duty steel supports and there is a special locking bracket to make sure the training wheels don’t slip/twist out of position. Most other kids bikes have very cheaply made training wheels (thin weak stamped steel) and no locking safety bracket. Also, the frame design with the curved top tube lowers the stand-over height of the bike. This is great for young children learning to ride because they can comfortably straddle the bike with both their feet firmly on the ground. The bike feels a bit heavy but you know that it will last. I had another 16″ Schwinn boys bike for my son a few years ago that really stood up to abuse. He has outgrown it, but it’s still in great shape so we handed it down to a cousin to enjoy.

Bought this bike to start exercising again and get back in shape. Gained alot of weight due to an injury. Needed a bike that was comfortable and could support me. Been riding about 3 miles per day, 4 days per week, for about 6 months now and no problems at all. Bike is very comfortable. When you buy this bike, I had the option of the curved back handle bars or the straight ones. Bought the curved ones thinking they would be more comfortable, but had an awkward angle on my wrists. Straight out of the box this pump’s burnished aluminum construction was a good indication that I’d made the right choice. After figuring out how to attach it to my bike’s Presta valves (open the valve, give it a gentle tap to bleed some air, press on the pump connector and then pull the lever up to lock in position) it took less than ten strokes to get 120psi. Very smooth, easy to read pressure gauge and the handle really is easy on your hands. Having my tires consistently pumped to their rated pressures has dramatically improved my daily rides – my tires are rock hard, but man are they fast! Big kudos to Planet Bike on this pump!

My Dahon Vitesse was stolen from the station over the 4th July weekend.(don’t use Cryptonite Cables – get any cheap U shaped steal horseshoe from BELL – that will hold longer – even that gets cut with the jaws-of-life type of tools)
First off, Foldable bikes even high end are NOT REAL BIKES. So treat them accordingly! They are SLOWWWW!
I bring my bike on the train every weekend after work. This bike is very cute – gets stares from commuters. It has 6 speeds (alhtough i only use 2 – high and low. The spead differential is ..stupid. However, it is actually lighter than most of the bikes here on Amazon, especially without the rack that i dont use.
If you need a foldable bike – dont get an expensive one – trust me.. market is bad – people are desperate… Me and my girlfriend love it. Ive had it for a month and it is (after 2 hours of finetuning and tightening) very solid.

I purchased the product on Jun 6, 2010 to be ready to ride on Jun 11, 2010 and the product arrived on Jun 14, 2010 with express shipping. The other three vendors I used all with express shipping had my item at my house before Jun 11th. Since not hearing from the vendor, I had to go purchase clip-in shoes so I could ride on Jun 11th. I’m VERY disappointed in the vendor and disappointed that Amazon is willing to use a vendor that is not able to provide outstanding customer service.

The vendor Bikesomewhere is terrible! They do not respond to emails and they don’t respond to phone message since their voice mail box is always full.

Amazon should not do business with this vendor. I can only assume that they are not able to keep up with demand.
I highly recommend the product but I do not recommend the vendor. I have been trying to contact the vendor since June 7th, including my number and email address to receive a return authorization and I still have not heard from them as of Jun 14th at 730 PM. Yes is has been that long! I will try to go through Amazon for a return.

This is the first bike rack I have owned. I did some searching and could not really find a big difference between this Allen rack for a little over 100 bucks and others in the 200-300 dollar range. When I opened the box I noted the durable construction and could not wait to mount it on the SUV. It held up to all expectations. The fold down features are nice. You could get a locking hitch pin but the bolt that comes with it screws down tight and it would be difficult to steal the thing. Someone would need wrenches or a socket set to pull of the heist. The straps pull down tight. I had no problem with hauling the bikes. To reduce sway I just used bungee cords to hold the bikes stable. Can’t beat the price, definite value for the money.

I ordered this item for my son for Christmas and found it fairly easy to put together (always a plus!). The brakes gave me some difficulty until I figured them out but other than that it was easier than other toys I’ve had to assemble. My son hasn’t used it much yet (we live in northern PA and it’s a little cold out to be riding a scooter around) but he’s tried it out and is very comfortable with the way it handles. It appears to be a solidly built scooter and doesn’t look as if it will break easily (another plus when you’re talking about a scooter bought for a 12 year old boy!). All in all, I would recommend this scooter to anyone looking for something to ride off-road (the bike tires are the main reason I went with this model instead of one of the Razor scooters – Razors may be nice but they don’t work well on gravel and dirt roads).

This was bought as a gift for my son’s 3rd birthday. He loves it and it on it daily. We have only used this in the house and on the grass in the backyard so I am not sure how the plastic wheels will hold up to the rough pavement on the road but they seem tough enough. The seat at the closest setting is almost too long for my son. He has a 13 inch inseam, just turned 3 years, and just barely has a bend in his legs when his feet are on the pedals. Because of this, he prefers to scoot using his feet to push himself across the floor. I think he’ll grow into this by summer but the age says 2-6. I think 3 1/2 is a better age for size, especially if you are looking to use the pedals. Other than that, I have no complaints. The handlebars were somewhat of a pain to get on and I had to go buy a new screw since I ended up stripping the head of the one that came with it. But overall, this is a great toy that my son seems to be attached to. He loves the sounds and has quickly picked up which direction is left and which is right. I would definitely recommend this toy.

There’s a lot to like about this cycle computer. The “buttonless” design works well and allows a large display with most everything you’ll need on one very readable page. I was especially pleased to find that, unlike my old CatEye, you can preset an odometer reading. I was also pleased to find that it has a 2 bike capability. You set wheel circumfrence and can preset an odometer readings for each. A single button on the back toggles between bikes. All that’s needed is another wire/sensor harness which is relatively cheap. Modes are selected by pressing up on the entire computer and will show an odometer reading for the selected bike or an accumulated reading for both. The clock feature is also welcome.

The only negative is the temperature reading, which proved to be wildly inaccurate. I think sunshine causes a greeen-house effect inside the sealed unit. Whatever, it reads much higher than actual air temperature although tucked away in the garage the reading is reasonably accurate. Temperature reading wasn’t a big issue with me anyway.

I’ve ridden this bike for 4-5 months, a few miles a day. It’s a nice (fast!) commute bike, best for roads (but it’s fun to drift around on dirt), and it has good, quality parts. I haven’t yet gotten the derailleur set correctly, but for the most part I don’t care and I’m too busy. It hit the good-enough point and I’m content.
Coming off of a cheap WalMart mountain bike, this thing is heaven. If anybody’s looking for a step up from a basic ride-it-sometimes bike, this one is nice. If you’re still only going to ride it sometimes, then why bother?
It’s a little heavy to be called a road bike, which is probably why it’s not, and I’m still wondering why exactly there needs to be a suspension (which must have added a fair share of useless weight). Also, the handlebar isn’t as adjustable as most would like, and if you’re 6′ tall and one of those people who likes their legs to be fully extended when pedaling, it might not be possible on this bike.

This is one exceptional piece of technical clothing. The jacket is light as a feather. You almost forget you’re wearing it. The material has the smoothness and consistency of a party balloon only softer, thicker, and without elasticity. A closer look reveals the material has thousands of tiny pores that allow moisture to pass through. The zipper is sturdy and stays exactly where you put it. Leave it halfway zipped and the jacket scoops air around your body that lifts the material an inch away from your skin. The back is longer so your butt stays covered when you lean forward into a riding position. The piping on the chest, sleeves, and back is reflective. It also looks cool as hell. There is no downside to this jacket. It’s pricey but worth it. Get one. You won’t regret it.

Best rack I have owned due to total versatility. Fits a Toyota Sequoia perfectly and the threaded hitch pin pulls tight to prevent lateral movement. Any style bike will go on this rack because of the unlimited individual adjustibility. The frame work and welding is excellent. When the bikes are unloaded the rack folds up out of the way. Super quick on off loading. Just remember which bike goes in which position! Cons: Super poor instructions plus have a magnifying glass ready.
