Have not used this product too much yet, will update my review later. For now: it is surprisingly bright, seems more than its 200 rating. I like the bar clamp however it is best to use a couple winds of electical tape or similar around the bar before installing the clamp to provide additional material and keep the mount from slipping on the bare bar. The helmet mount works but could use a little help. I think the rubber pads just will not stay put on the slippery exterior of bike helmets. I don’t really ever expect much out of velcro helment attachements of any kind and don’t really fault the manufacturer, again, I’ll just use electrical tape instead for a non-slip, easy to remove install. Glad the unit comes with both attachments (bar, helmet) seems to be solid, able to charge via wall plug or USB, like the charging/charge lites so you know its charged, and the single unit / no chords.

I wanted to get something for my ten month old so I could ride my bike while my three year old rides his. We have a trailer but I wanted to try a seat because I thought it would be easier than dragging the trailer out- especially just for riding slowly around the neighborhood with a three year old!
The front kind seemed like a good idea. The whole reason I bought a trailer in the first place was because I was afraid of my balance being thrown off with a bike seat. This front mounted seat is super for balance! I felt very comfortable with my daughter up front and she loved it! We just went for a test run around the block after installing it.
I was able to install in less than 20 mins with a 10 month old crawling around. So I’d say it was pretty easy. It’s also very easy to remove the seat when you don’t want it on your bike.
I was a little afraid of how my knees would hit the seat but I figured for the price I would just order it and give it a try and if it didn’t work out I’d return it.
It’s much better than I thought it would be. My knees don’t really hit but I have to pedal in a way that I’m aware that the seats there. Not really a big deal, just something to get use to.
The seat does seem a little wobbly, not terribly so though, so not a huge deal. I may be able to adjust it to keep it from doing this. The seat was so easy to install I actually haven’t read the manual yet…
Over all for the price you can’t beat it. What a cool thing.
I just want to add that I recently went to our local hospital where they do helmet fittings to get a new helmet for my three year old and they wouldn’t sell me one for my daughter until she’s a year. The AAP doesn’t recommend children ride in trailers or bike seats until a year. Trailers are also recommended over bike seats because the majority of accidents happen in bike seats. Although I would imagine that would be the back mounted type. It would be interesting to see a study about front mounted seats as they become more available.

I love this rack. Sturdy as all heck once installed properly. Unfortunately I didn’t realize the rack was made for bikes with seat stays which my Trek didn’t have. After a couple of trips to the local outdoor store, I finally stopped by a proper bike shop and picked up a Blackburn Monostay Rack Adapter. It took me nearly an hour to get everything properly installed but once installed the rack didn’t move. I use this rack with a Topeak DX bag (with panniers). The bag has QuickTrack and is super-sturdy on this rack. Highly recommended.

I don’t have any other comparison, since this is the first I have ever purchased, but I was pleasantly surprised when I received it just two days after I ordered with FREE shipping.

The trainer itself is solid and works better than I could have hoped for, cost a lot less than buying an exercise bike.

I am not a cyclist and bought this to simply turn a regular bike into an exercise bike.

There was zero assembly required, just unfold it and place your bike in, super easy, when you want to ride the bike out on the street, it’s free in less than 30 seconds.

The only con I would say about this, is that it is loud if you have nobby treaded tires, from the previous review, I can see how a smooth tire would quiet it down, You do or can get use to the noise of it, However, you can also release the tire from the tension roller an ride like a regular bike.

Highly Recommend, I don’t think you’ll be sorry on this one.

The key feature of this pump is that the pump head is connected to the main pump by a short section of rubber tubing. This lets you put the end of the pump on the ground after locking the head onto the tube valve. Then, you can use your body weight to do the pumping as with a floor pump, which is nice if you’ve got skimpy arms like me and need road tire pressure (100+ psi). A short, plastic foot swings down so you can use your foot to keep the bottom end of the pump from slipping as you pump. I’m a bit worried that this foot or its hinge will break, so I try to be careful not to stress it when I’m pumping on pavement, but it’s held up fine after over a dozen uses. Finally, while the gauge doesn’t seem to be super precise, it’s definitely good enough to be confident that you’ve got the right amount of pressure ’til you get home to your floor pump. As a year-round, carless commuter, I’m happy I found this reliable, well-designed pump and have recommended it enthusiastically to other cycle-commuters.

First of all, I am a hardcore biker in NYC. And by living in NYC, I know how often the bikes get stolen. So, a durable cable lock is a must for me. I was looking for a good, reliable and cheap cable lock for my bikes that I can use it without keys (so that I don’t have to worry about loosing keys).
I began my search from Wal-Mart, and found that a thick cable locks with keys start around 15 bucks, but I didnt found them extremely reliable, so I went to many well known sports stores, but it was the similar kind of situation there as well. Finally, while searching online, when I glanced over this lock, with 4.5 out of 5 stars review, thought to give it a try.
And I must say, it hasn’t disappointed me at all.

This lock is an extremely high quality, logically made, durable and most importantly CHEAP. You are paying very little for what you get.

Two thumbs up for both Amazon as well as Avenir. Might end up buying more of these.

As good as you’ll find… It holds a deceptively large amount of small items. I have a topeak alien II, a cell phone, car key, tube patch, and small pump in mine. It is not pretty on the bike, but functional and secure. The best feature though is it’s water resistance. I dumped my bike in a stream (rider error) and there was several minutes during which it was fully submerged. All of my items remained perfectly dry. It was worth every penny and then some.

I just bought two of these, one headlight for my bike and one for my husband’s. They are so easy to install, you just pull the streachy strap aroud any bar you want to place it on your bike and hook it around a hook on the bottom of the light. We thought these would be good ones to help make us visable to motorists while riding at night. we didn’t realize that they were so bright! We tested them on a dark street and could actually see where we were going! I have a big basket on my bike so I attached it to the front bar coming from the tire to the handlebars underneath the basket and it works great. I was so worried about finding a light that I could use with my basket. The nice thing is too, is that my bike and the blue Beetle are the same color and you can’t even tell that the light is there unless it is on. All in all a great buy!

I read a detailed evaluation of bike locks from some european magazine, and this one rated highest in difficulty of sheer cracking. They had high-quality power saws and this took something like 10 minutes to saw through. The next highest rated, including the kryptonite chain and the toughest bulldog u-lock, both took 7 or 8 minutes to saw through. These expensive locks are made with higher-grade steel, which is why they’re so heavy. And yes, you need a cable or something to protect the wheels, this is just for the frame. If I remember right, this lock weighs between 4 and 5 pounds, and the kryptonite cable and mini lock weighs about 8 pounds.

I bought this basket to go on the front of my mountain bike, which I also use to go grocery shopping and for other various errands. It fits comfortably on the front of my bike, and comes off easily for shopping and when I go riding on back trails (the basket stand is minimal and doesn’t impede rough riding). I did have to remove my front reflector because the basket stand takes the space, but that was easily placed higher up on one of my handle bars.

I’m not sure why some reviewers say their baskets fall off–the handle of the basket locks it into place when down, and there are 2 hooks on the bottom of the basket holding it in place. The only way that basket is coming off is if the handle is up and the basket is lifted off the hooks. The only suggestion I have is to wrap the handle with some cloth or something–it’s thin and can hurt your hands when full of heavy groceries/items. Other than that, it’s a great little basket! If it works on my cheapo mountain bike, it should work on anything.

This Trainer is great. Relatively easy set up. Tremendous customer support when you call about anything that is unclear. The instructions are a bit weak for setting it up (hence the call to customer support). Once you get it set up it is wonderful. A truly tough workout, the free Chris Carmichael DVD helps you through your first workout and gives you ideas for setting up other workouts on your own. You need to get the riser block for the front wheel or it does not feel right. During my first 2 workouts on it I easily exceeded the Heart Rates I was getting in an organized Spinning Class. Feels rock solid.

At first we werent sure if any child would be comfortable sitting in this, but when everything was attached and my 13 month old was sitting in it, he looked just fine. He was sitting up high enough that he could see everything without having to turn side to side (as in a rear seating bike seat) and we could definitely keep our eyes on him. He’s still not sure about the headrest part and he keeps his hands down to the sides, but overall, he’s extremely content when we go on bike rides. We have gotten tons of positive comments from other parents that see him in it. In our area most people use the bike trailers and a few rear seats. So this is definitely something people dont normally see around here. We’ve only seen one other Wee Ride on the bike trail.

I bought an extra bar so that we could attach the seat to either my husband’s or my mountain bikes. The one and only downfall is that for me (i’m 5′2″), I found out that i’m just too short in the torso area to allow for a comfortable ride for myself. Our handlebars do not adjust so i am in this crouched over position which doesnt leave a whole lot of room between me and my son. I kept knocking his helmet forward and it was just too awkward of a ride for me, so we can only have the Wee Ride attach to my husbands bike as he is much taller than me. Even though i dont personally get to ride with him, its a joy to see him have a good time. I think a taller mom should have no problem.
